Geek Blog – Princess’ Girl Time
What Mario and Link don’t know…. would probably devastate them.
And I would have surely pegged, of the two, Peach to be the harlot.

Geek Blog – The Problem with Warping
To warp or not to warp, that is the question that faces us at the end of World 1-2, after finding the whistle in the first fortress of the first World, when you open the path to the first star road in the Donut Plains and as you toss a potion in Dream-Con next to a jar you know will take you to World 4.
Not nearly as fundamental as the question “To turtle-trap or not to turtle-trap”; this conundrum still plagues our youth. Or not.
Is it cheating? If so, who are you cheating? Bowser would have you believe you are cheating yourself.

Geek Blog – Mario Musical Mastery
Super Mario Bros. always brings a smile to my face. The following videos display some of the vast talent out on the interwebs. First a beat-boxer, followed by a violinist who times his play with someone who is playing.
Enjoy and Happy Fathers’ Day to the GeekDad’s out there!

Geek Blog – Yoshi Jumps HIGH
Call it a glitch. Call it an exploit of new game mechanics. I call it hilarious and awesome!
Thank you YT user MAST3RLINKX
It appears as if the player leaps into the air with Yoshi, extends his jump with Yoshi’s special ability, then quickly dismounts/remounts and uses Yoshi’s special ability again. The timing on this kind of jump would have to be difficult to master at first, but can allow you to get to otherwise unreachable areas (like the top of a volcano, as shown in the video).
I’ve had a blast with this game (as with most Mario games). How has your experience been?

Geek Blog – Mario Galaxy 2 Release is Coming
I can’t wait to pick up my prepurchased copy at GameStop. For those of you who got warm and fuzzies from my other posts about SMG2, check out the “Twinkling” (harhar) review put up on GameTrailers:
Geek Blog – Bosses’ Lament
I’m growing quite fond of CollegeHumor’s video game animations. My first was the awkward encounter between Sonic and Mario in their later years. Now we have a speech shared by all the video game villains regarding their repetitive failure to stop one lone hero from moving to the right.
Try not to be drinking anything while you watch this, unless you really, really want to know what your soda smells like.
