Return of the Jedi isn’t my favorite Star Wars film. In fact, it’s my least favorite of the prequels; however, I’m still astonished at how Lucas hacked it up for the DVD release, especially at the end of the film.
I fail to see why the people of Tatooine would celebrate at the fall of the empire; they were so far out on the rim that they weren’t affected by the Emperor; they were ruled by the Hutts.
I abhor how Sebastian Shaw was replaced with Hayden Christensen as the ghostly force-figure of Anakin Skywalker.
And I was quite disappointed that the celebration music was changed from the original Yub Nub! Below is a trippy karaoke video of that beloved (albeit mind-numbingly, “cant-get-you-outta-my-head”) tune, silly Ewoks and all.
